From a global perspective, digital intelligence technologies have fully integrated into various aspects of the publishing field, which has not only driven the rapid expansion of the digital publishing industry, but also profoundly reshaped the industrial structure of the traditional publishing. In the wave of digital intelligence, the continuous emergence of technological innovation and open data resources has paved new paths for the development of the global publishing industry while bringing new challenges and opportunities for talent cultivation in publishing.
Against this background, to bring together professionals from international higher education institutions, research institutes, industry experts, scholars and other related parties to discuss the development trends of the publishing industry and new paths for talent cultivation in the age of digital intelligence, the “International Symposium on Publishing Industry Development and Talent Cultivation in the Age of Digital Intelligence” is scheduled to be held at Wuhan University on 7-9 November 2024.
