報(bào)告內(nèi)容:AI is already transforming organizations by increasing efficiency and influencing decision-making. Yet, automated decision-making comes with flaws, and incorrect decisions can be taken, which might have a significant impact. Hence, AI needs to be governed to ensure trustworthy and accountable outcomes. Governing AI needs to be fundamentally changed, as AI and governance are intertwined. There is a need for developing AI governance frameworks, including principles, accountability mechanisms, impact assessments, human oversight, and transparency, to ensure that governance itself must evolve alongside AI adoption. AI Governance requires a multi-layered approach ranging from technical to institutional mechanisms throughout the whole AI system’s lifecycle. In this talk, the challenges for governing AI systems to make trustworthy decisions are discussed. Several examples will be given and research directions outlined.
