Recently, the 7th China Excellent Publication Award hosted by The Publishers Association of China was announced, Professor Lifang Xu's Digital Storytelling and Interactive Digital Narrative was awarded the 7th China Excellent Publication (Excellent Published Scientific Research Paper) Award.

It was reported that China Excellent Publication Award was evaluated every two years, with three sub-awards, namely, Book Award, Audio-visual, Electronic and Game Publication Award and Excellent Published Scientific Research Paper Award, which were evaluated and awarded at the same time. A total of 330 works won the award, including 100 items of books and 30 national excellent published scientific research papers.

Professor Lifang Xu's Digital Storytelling and Interactive Digital Narrative was published at Publishing Journal, No.3 Vol. 24 in 2016.
