The 2019 Undergraduate E-commerce Class was Awarded the Wuhan University Advanced Class

On the afternoon of November 18,thedefense meeting of the 2021-2022 academic year Wuhan UniversityAdvanced Classeswas held in the Humanities Museum. After fierce competition, the 2019 Undergraduate E-commerce Class of our School won the honour ofWuhan University Advanced Classwith the fifth total score.

According to the order of drawing lots, the2019 Undergraduate E-commerce Classwas the first to give presentation, andLihong Yu, Monitor of the Class, defended on behalf of the Class. She showed the performance of the Class in the form of a product launch conference. Focusing on the core concept of “l(fā)istening to the Party's words, following the Party's lead, and having innovation in theoretical arms”, the Class pays attention to the integrated construction of the Communist Party of China and Communist Youth League, and the deep integration of Party building, Youth League building and study. It has been awarded the honors in school level and university level of advanced class, advanced Youth League branch and active Youth League branch for many times, and 127 headcounts have been awarded by university level or above.

In terms of the advantages, the Class takes innovation, originality and entrepreneurship as the center, and has achieved fruitful scientific and technological achievements on the basis of over 90% excellent results.

In the discipline contests, the Class won 2 international awards, 7 national awards, 12 provincial awards and 40 university-level awards. In the 12th China National College Student "Innovation, Originality and Entrepreneurship" Challenge, the Class won four national-level special prizes, setting a double new high in the number and level of awards of Wuhan University. The atmosphere of innovation, originality and entrepreneurship has incubated three student teams in entrepreneurship, which develop Internet products in the fields of integrating campus idle resources, human resource service for cross-border e-commerce, and monitoring of E-commerce livestreaming, covering nearly 60,000 users.

In terms of culture, the Class pays attention to the interaction between students and teachers, and among grades. It held the E-commerce Cup fun games, and actively participated in various cultural and sports events such as the Golden Autumn Art Festival and the Torch Cup volleyball match, thus forming a good balance of study, arts and physical exercise.

In the past three years, the Class has made rapid progress and self-improvement. The honour of the Wuhan University Advanced Class is the result of the 39 students’ hard working, but also an important embodiment of the effectiveness of class construction in our School. In the future, the School will give full play to the leading and exemplary role of models, and further push the class construction of our School to a new level.
