On the afternoon of October 13, the SIM Defense Meeting of the 2021-2022 Academic Year Advanced Classes Assessment was held in the No.204 Lecture Hall of the SIM Building.Min Zhang,Yiming Zhao, andYing Huang, as undergraduate class tutors representatives, and all undergraduate counselors, attended the defense meeting and served as judges. Moreover, there were public judges from each class.

In the presentation session, 18 classes showed their achievements in ideological guidance, study and academic research, performance in arts and sports, social practice, innovation and entrepreneurship, policy-making and other aspects in the past year.

In the defense session, the representatives of each class drew questions randomly, and shared their experiences in the construction of study atmosphere, team management, improvement of consciousness of cohesion and other aspects with calm and well-founded answers.

Each class also organized cheering squad, cheering for the class with video, singing, poetry recitation, calligraphy and other forms. The atmosphere of the defense was lively and applause burst out.

After application review and on-site defense, 10 classes were awarded the SIM 2021-2022 Academic Year Advanced Classes. The 2019-grade E-commerce Class, ranked first, was recommended to participate in the competition of the Wuhan University Advanced Classes.

Wuhan University attaches great importance to classes construction, holds the advanced classes assessment every year, summarizes the experience and practice of excellent class construction by organizing the defense meeting of advanced classes assessment and exerts the effect of promoting construction and reform by assessment, cultivates the enthusiasm of students to actively participate in class construction, which is a platform for all classes in the School to learn from each other and grow together.
